Derek Viguers
Derek is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served for 11 years before transitioning into the world of coffee. After leaving his military career behind, he turned his focus to something he was truly passionate about — cold brew coffee. While there are plenty of cold brew products on the market, Derek noticed a gap: many store-bought options contained preservatives and lacked that fresh, flavorful taste. Driven by his desire to offer a healthier, more convenient alternative, Derek developed the Bean Lab Cold Brew Kit. His mission? To make it easy for people to enjoy a delicious cup of cold brew at home, without the chemicals or preservatives, just great taste and simplicity.

James Viguers
James has always been a fan of his brother's cold brew, and that passion quickly became contagious. When Derek approached him with the idea to simplify the cold brew process, James was all in. Watching the vision come to life has been an incredible journey, and he knew right away they had something special to share with the world. James brings his strength in networking to the table — he thrives on connecting with people and building relationships, all while bonding over a great cup of coffee.

Alexa Viguers
Alexa is a dedicated stay-at-home mom with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Her journey with Bean Lab began alongside her husband, Derek, the founder. She was inspired by his passion and vision and wanted to be part of something that aligned with her own values. As someone who places a high importance on health and wellness, Alexa was immediately drawn to the idea of creating a product that's both preservative-free and incredibly convenient. Joining the Bean Lab team has been a fulfilling way for her to contribute to a mission she truly believes in.
